Governor Fayose says the FG should focus on governing rather than attempt to go after him.
This is according to a release signed by the governor’s special assistant on new media, Mr. Lere Olayinka.
“This project ‘Fayose must be implicated at all cost’ will definitely not put food on the tables of Nigerians, and for all I care, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and its collaborators can keep running from pillar to post while I keep delivering good governance to Ekiti and its people.”
“As far as I am concerned, I am busy here in Ekiti attending to the welfare and well-being of my people. I won’t be distracted.”
The governor’s statement is a reaction to one credited to Obanikoro implicating him in the NSA arms deal scandal.

A few days ago, we brought you that one time football legend, Jay Jay Okocha decided to pivot into music. Of course, we are all glad things worked out different.
Turns out Okocha isn’t the only celebrity who tried his hands on other things while trying to find himself.
And like Okocha one of Nigeria’s celebrated musicians, Wizkid also experimented in the early years of his career.
Today Wizkid is on the verge of establishing himself in the international music market. He already has a foot in, if you consider that he’s worked with some of the biggest acts in the music world- Chris Brown, French Montana, Tinie Tempah and Drake.
Talking about his collaboration with Drake- One Dance. The song is now Spoify’s most-streamed song ever- with over 882 million streams. And Wizkid is set to recreate same magic as he announced a soon to be released collaboration with Drake.
But all this would have been different, if Wizkid continued as rapper as seen in this video:

Credit rating agency, Fitch Ratings says the weak state of the naira will worsen Nigeria’s debt profile.
“We think the debt burden is sustainable, but it is increasing, while government revenues have fallen as a proportion of GDP,” the agency said.
The agency then “downgraded Nigeria’s sovereign rating to ‘B+’/Stable from ‘BB-’/Negative in June”.
“The downgrade reflected increased fiscal and external vulnerability due to the sharp fall in oil revenue and the authorities’ indecisive policy response,” the company said.
What this means is that an end to the current economic downturn isn’t in sight.

Justice John Inyang Okoro, one of the supreme Court judges being probed by the DSS says he’s in this situation because he refused to do the bidding of the Transport Minister, Chibuike Amaechi.
Guardian reports that the judge expressed this in a letter to the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), dated October 17.
He says Amaechi tried to influence him into compromising the outcome of election petitions in Akwa Ibom, Abia and Rivers states at the Supreme Court.
Amaechi in his reaction through his media aide, David Iyofo, said;
“This accusation from Justice Okoro against Amaechi is a figment of his imagination, concocted to obfuscate and politicize the real issues for his arrest and DSS investigation of allegations of corruption against him”.
