I think there are 2 types of people. There is street smart and there is book smart. Some are streetsmart and booksmart.
The spirit of the hustler is ridiculously amazing. There is no way a girl will f**king go on social media and post her sponsors. How do you go post your source of income? It is f**king ridiculous. Don’t post your sponsors on instagram or social media. Why should you do such a thing? I’m not saying it’s bad or anything, but this is free advice, dont do it unless you want the next b*tch to cash your cheque. Roger that.

Never met a smart lady who will post her sponsors’ pictures. It’s the dumbest thing you can ever do. I will never post my sponsors on Instagram or anywhere; in all the sponsor relationships I’ve had. I have never done it and will never do. If its your boyfriend and you are in a serious relationship, then its OK.

There is a difference between boyfriend and sponsor. You can post your boyfriend, I mean you’re in love and relationships and all – but you can’t post your sponsors, you are going to lose your cheque!

I have dated younger guys, footballers, basketballers, executives, billionaires and normal people. I never post their pictures and none of my friends knew I was in those relationships. Interesting right? Not even the bloggers and their blogs, they didnt know, that’s the way I decided to keep it. Not asking you to enter sponsor relationships, but if you are in such a relationship, keep it on the low

If you want to do the social media, instagram, facebook thing; do it with your boyfriend. Then that’s ok.

The Trump administration has withdrawn a piece of federal guidance requiring transgender students to have unfettered access to bathrooms and locker rooms matching their gender identity, in a move that could embolden many schools to restrict trans rights, the Guardian reports.

In doing so, the administration has signaled that it does not necessarily interpret current federal civil rights protections as prohibiting discrimination based on gender identity.

A joint letter released by the departments of justice and education on Wednesday cited the legal battle on this question as justification for rescinding the guidance, “in order to further and more completely consider the legal issues involved”.

“In addition, the Departments believe that there must be due regard for the primary role of the States and local school districts in establishing education policy,” the letter added.

The Obama administration issued the guidance in May 2016 , in response to growing confusion and controversy over how schools should accommodate transgender students. The letter released on Wednesday left one major piece of that guidance intact: a recognition that schools bear some responsibility to prevent bullying and harassment of transgender students.

LGBT rights groups on Wednesday assailed the administration. “This is a mean-spirited attack on hundreds of thousands of students who simply want to be their true selves and be treated with dignity while attending school,” said Mara Keisling, executive director of the National Center for Transgender Equality. “These young people already face incredible hurdles in their pursuit of education and acceptance. With a pen stroke, the Trump Administration effectively sanctions the bullying, ostracizing, and isolation of these children, putting their very lives in danger.”

Opponents of such a change also argued that the impact of the announcement would be blunted by existing law. The administration, they argued, does not have the authority to revoke rights that have been recognised several times in the federal courts.

“Rescinding the guidance does not change the rights of students under Title IX [the federal law prohibiting sex discrimination in education and activities],” Chase Strangio, a staff attorney for the American Civil Liberties Union, wrote on Tuesday. “Trans students are protected from discrimination by federal law and the administration can’t change that.”

That argument is the subject of a forthcoming supreme court case . On 28 March, lawyers for Gavin Grimm, a Virginia high school student, will contend that federal laws against sex discrimination extend to bias against transgender people. Grimm claims his school is discriminating against him by refusing to allow him access to the boys bathroom.

Several federal appeals courts have already ruled that discriminating against transgender people based on their gender identity is a violation of federal law. In 2016, the fourth circuit court of appeals ruled in Grimm’s favor.

“We’re confident that the law is on Gavin’s side and he will prevail just as he did in the fourth circuit,” said Joshua Block, an ACLU attorney and the lead attorney for Grimm’s case. The ACLU argued that the move Wednesday would not impact Grimm’s case because it began before the guidance came out.

David Dinielli, deputy legal director for the Souther Poverty Law Center, said in a statement that by rescinding the guidance “the administration has contributed to the baseless hysteria and panic that puts so many vulnerable transgender youth at risk”.

The White House’s expected move comes one week after Jeff Sessions, the newly appointed attorney general, quietly withdrew the Department of Justice’s participation in the Obama guidance’s legal defence. More than 20 states have challenged the guidance, which applies to all federally funded public schools, in federal court, and the guidance has been blocked by a federal judge. The justice department is no longer asking for a stay of that judge’s decision.

Sessions, who has long been hostile to LGBT rights, reportedly fought for Wednesday’s order over the objections of Betsy DeVos, the new education secretary. The report, by the New York Times, claimed that DeVos asked to preserve protections for students against bullying but was overruled by the President, who sided with his attorney general.

The joint letter from her agency and Sessions released on Wednesday read: “All schools must ensure that all students, including LGBT students, are able to learn and thrive in a safe environment. The Department of Education Office of Civil Rights will continue its duty under law to hear all claims of discrimination and will explore every opportunity to protect all students.”

White House press secretary Sean Spicer insisted on Wednesday that DeVos was onboard.

“The conclusions, everyone in the administration is agreed upon,” he told reporters. “There’s no daylight between anybody, between the President and any of the secretaries. I think there’s been some discussion between the timing of the issuance and recommendations or the exact wording.”

President Buhari Calls Nigeria Again

CitizenGO, an NGO, is currently gathering votes online to stop the airing of Big Brother Naija (#BBNaija) one of the biggest Reality TV shows in Nigeria and Africa. The group sent the petition to policy makers, the National Broadcasting Commission, The Presidency and the public.

CitizenGo is a community of active citizens who work together, using online petitions and action alerts as a resource, to defend and promote life, family and liberty. They work to ensure that those in power respect human dignity and individuals’ rights.

The collection of signatures which started on Feb. 20, already has a total number of 3,160 signatures. The organisation is hoping to get at least 5,000 signatures. These are some of their grievances:

“Big Brother Nigeria is a corruption of TV Reality shows. The Nigerian public is complaining about the moral perversity in the House of the Big Brother Nigeria. In one episode last two weeks or so, the inmates were shown openly kissing and caressing one another. This is a celebration of obscenity, eroticism and idleness.”

“More importantly, it is a big mockery of Nigerian culture and tradition. Since the inmates are Nigerians, they should have been projecting the Nigerian cultural heritage. But instead of doing that, they are bastardizing it.”

“The biggest tragedy of the on-going Big Brother Nigeria is that our children are also glued to the TV screen watching it. Children are our future. Therefore we should protect them from lewd exposure, which might prevent their growth into free, independent and well-developed citizens.”

“The NBC must live up to its bidding as a body charged with controlling, monitoring, regulating the electronic media and monitoring of satellite transmission in Nigeria. Our TV stations cannot become dumping grounds for all sorts of immoral programs.”

1. Make tailoring your strong suit

Avoid dull corporate styles, opting instead for beautiful fabrications and slim abbreviated lines that exude elegance without looking trumped-up. “A slim-fit suit in French navy is compulsory,” says Clayton Rondo of Clay Rondo Menswear. If buying off-the-rack, find a reputable tailor who can ensure your sleeve and trouser hem lengths are on-point. “Fit is essential and can even make a cheaper suit look expensive,” he says.

Next level: Go bespoke, and have your suits made-to-measure, or peacock an incoming style not yet on-trend. “Double breasted suits are creeping back in with a cool design twist,” says Rondo. “Traditional jet pockets with flaps are out, and patch pockets teamed with a narrow peak lapel are in. Very chic.”

2. Tie your necktie like a boss

“The Four in Hand knot is perfect for narrow collars and skinny ties,” says Rondo. “For spread collars, opt for the always elegant Windsor.”

Next level: Finesse your tie knot. Always wear a quality silk tie and create a sumptuous dimple in the base of the knot. To finish, tuck the rear blade of your tie into the keeper on the back of the front blade.

3. Wear cool frames that suit you

You may not possess 20/20 vision, but at least you get to rock specs. Look for frames that offset your face shape. For example, round faces suit angular frames, and angular faces look best with round. “Look for styles with a cool West Coast American vibe,” suggests Michael Makras owner of Optiko, “like cool aviator styles, or consider round or any frame featuring a double brow bar.”

Next level: “Go top shelf with a pair of bespoke buffalo horn frames customised for your face shape and colouring,” he adds, “or choose a pair of prestigious Cartier frames with precious metal frames like solid gold with diamond detail.” Stellar.

4. Give good street-style cred

According to stylist Jan O’Loughlin, opt for clean, crisp and understated casual styling: “Ideally a slim fit crisply ironed shirt, sports jacket, chinos, a loafer and cool belt.”

Next level: Up your casual sartorial game and look sharp. Try flipping your collar, or let your ankles do the talking in mildly cropped trousers. Think cool, hip, and wear with confidence. Try a cashmere knit or cool floral print shirt, and top with a leather bomber jacket or tweed coat. Team with good denim or khaki corduroys, and finish with a pair of enviable trophy shoes.

5. Take the perfect picture

Chin up, shoulders back and smolder.

Next level: “Feeling relaxed is key to looking great in a photo,” says photographer Stef King. “The more chilled, the more natural you will look.” Turn to the side and swivel your hips and shoulders back to camera for a narrower waist and broader shoulders, or stand front-on and place your hands in your pants pockets for a super-relaxed pose. “Disguise a double chin by tilting it forward and slightly down,” adds King, “and make sure you smile with your eyes, as well as your mouth.” Cheese!

6. Be polished

“Always groomed hair, complexion and nails please,” recommends hair-and-makeup artist Simone Cohen. “Go to the barber and use a quality hair care product on your hair as well as your beard if you have one.” For ease, take care of your complexion and nails when bathing. “Keep a nail brush and skin cleanser in the shower and use daily,” she says. “Always slather moisturiser on damp skin, clip your nails weekly, and check for protruding nose or ear hairs.”

Next level: Beautiful brows are no longer considered male grooming taboo. “They provide a frame for your face,” says Cohen. If you have buckets of patience, take to them yourself. “Groom away strays, then trim brows with a fine tooth comb and scissors,” she adds, “or have them professionally tended to and see the difference it makes to your face.”

7. Pay attention to how you smell

Consider scent just another layer of dressing, and always wear cologne.

Next level: Find your signature scent. Do your research, sampling scent on the inside of your wrists so you can gauge its true perfume. “Skin chemistry can alter scent considerably,” says Nick Smart of Agence de Parfum. Once chosen, add just a whiff each morning with a light hand. “Spritz the jawline, back-of-neck, elbows, wrists and behind-the-knees where the veins are closer to the skin and give off heat. It warms the fragrance giving it subtlety and longevity.”

8. Accessories maketh the outfit

Add the right accessories for perfect pulled-togetherness. “Think leather belts in black and tan, silk socks, an impressive watch and statement bag,” says O’Loughlin.

The legendary Coco Chanel created timeless fashion designs that are still in style today. She may have been well-known for her trademark suits and little black dresses, but there was so much more to this Queen of glamour and style.

Style icon Coco Chanel was born Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel in Saumur, France in 1883. The word ‘Bonheur’ in French means happiness. She got the nickname, Coco, when she was appearing as a cabaret singer and the music hall called ‘La Rotonde’ in 1905 and one of the songs that she sung was: ‘Qui qu’a vu Coco dans le trocader…’ Prolific fashion designer and famous for her iconic scent, Chanel No. 5, Coco Chanel is the only fashion designer to have been listed in Time Magazine’s 100 most influential people of the twentieth century. She was known for her, ambition, determination and energy, but her life was not without controversy as well, so read on and find ten interesting facts about Coco Chanel:

1. She had a thing about pockets

Coco Chanel absolutely loved pockets and she thought that there simply weren’t enough of them in women’s clothing. Most of the clothes and accessories that she designed had plenty of pockets and, even to this day, you will find more than enough pockets in a Chanel purse.

2. Her favourite number was five

It’s not really surprising that her favorite was the number five, but the famous scent Chanel No. 5 got its name from the fact that it is Coco Chanel chose the fifth variant of the trial perfumes that were prepared. The perfume was launched to the public on the fifth of May (the fifth month) 1921.

3. She began her career designing hats

Coco Chanel’s career in fashion began as a hobby, designing hats. Later on, her hat creations become a must have item for the aristocratic ladies of Paris, even though some of her designs were considered to be too revolutionary for most ordinary people.

4. She made having a sun tan fashionable

At a time when sun bathing was not at all fashionable, Coco Chanel brought it into vogue, completely by accident. She got sunburned during a cruise holiday and when she returned to Cannes in France, the public immediately followed the trend.

5. She came from a poor background

Coco Chanel was the daughter of a laundrywoman who died of tuberculosis and her father deserted the family, so Coco was placed in an orphanage at the age of twelve. It was at the orphanage that she learnt how to sow, taught by the nuns and members of her family who sometimes visited her.

6. She was accused of Nazi collaboration

There have been many reports that link Coco Chanel to the Nazis during the war and it is suggested that she used her many aristocratic contacts in Spain and England to get information to pass to the Nazis. She also dated a Nazi officer, during the Nazi occupation of France, Hans Gunther Von Dincklage.

7. She was one of the first designers to use celebrities in advertising

Celebrities are often used today to promote products like perfumes and fashion, and it was Coco Chanel who was one the first designers to begin this practice. She took photographs of celebrities of the day, wearing her creations, and used them in advertising.

8. She lived in a hotel for over 30 years

Coco Chael lived in a luxurious suite in the Ritz Hotel, Paris, for 37 years, up until her death in 1971. During the war, the hotel was also where many occupying Nazi officers stayed, which further fuelled speculation about her Nazi connections.

9. She made the little black dress chic

Until the 1920’s, black was a colour reserved for funerals and ladies in mourning. In 1926, Coco Chanel included a short black dress in a collection that was published in the American Vogue magazine, and black became fashionable.

10. Chanel No.5

Coco Chanel’s signature perfume, Chanel No. 5, is one of the world’s best-selling fragrances of all time and it has been estimated that someone, somewhere, buys a bottle of Chanel No.5 every 30 seconds.
