So, you’ve been thinking of quitting your full-time job so you can pursue your passion and ambition of having your own business. 1. Start Working on Your Side Business
You surely wouldn’t want to quit your full-time job knowing that you don’t have anything in place to catch you. So before turning in your resignation letter, take some time to build up your side business first. 2. Conduct a Research and Create a Plan
Quitting your full-time job can be scary, but what’s more frightening is if you already took the leap and realized that you bit off more than you can actually chew. Determine the customers you want to target, and decide on the services and products that you intend to offer. 3. Save Up Some Bucks
Apart from doing all the necessary research, it’s also important that you have a decent savings cushion before quitting your full-time position. Putting up your own business is difficult, and you should be prepared for the fact that you might not be able to make that much out of it. This is why we recommend stashing away an amount of money enough to cover two to three months of your living expenses. That way, you’ll be able to at least pay your bills even if you end up making nothing in the first few months of your business.

4. Take Care of the Nuts and Bolts
A lot of logistics are involved in doing your own thing. So, while you’re still earning from your full-time job, start working on taking care of the nuts and bolts necessary in starting up your business. Find an accountant who’ll be able to help you manage your taxes, and keep your expenses and income organized. Also, figure out what you’ll be doing for your health insurance, file the necessary documents to establish your business entity, and then visit a bank to set up a separate account for your business.

5. Prepare to Work Longer Hours
While it may not seem like it, being self-employed actually involves some serious dedication and hard work. The truth is, you might even be pushed to work harder (and in longer hours) than you did on your full-time job for just a paltry amount of money. Yes, it’s a little discouraging but you need to use that money as a motivation to keep on working. So be prepared for the fact that being self-employed actually involves some serious elbow grease on your part.

1) Using blush as an eyeshadow.
Many makeup artists advice time saving makeup tricks and one of them is to sweep your blush colour across your lids and use it as your eyeshadow. This tip can sound useful and time saving but, in most cases, it can only look good on artistic pictures for glossy magazines. Rose, red or peachy colours, usually, don’t look flattering on our eyes in real life. So, avoid using your blush as an eyeshadow!

2) Liquid foundation as an eyeshadow base.
When you apply your liquid foundation on your lids as a base for your eye makeup, in most cases it creates more harm than good, because the foundation wasn’t designed for this purpose; it’s more likely to crease and can make your eyes look tired instead of pretty. To get a neat and beautiful eye makeup – apply an eyeshadow primer first and then only apply your eyeshadow. Most eyeshadow primers will help your makeup last longer and stay crease-free.

3) Going too bright.
There is nothing wrong with experimenting…but as for eye makeup, very bright or neon colours only look cool when you go to a carnival or halloween party, or on the pages of glossy magazines, but in real life, it rarely looks elegant and sophisticated. So, I would suggest to avoid too vivid colours and stick to neutral pallet when doing your eye makeup.

5) Harsh eyeshadow lines.
Many make-up artists say: “Blending is the key!” This is totally true. Eyeshadow should be blended well and look like soft smoke, you shouldn’t see the colour between crease and brow bone. Harsh lines on the eyes look good only on the runway show, so my tip is – use proper tools to ensure that your shadow is well blended.

4) Not having a separate blending brush.
Most people apply their eyeshadow and then blend it with the same brush they used to apply it. This is a mistake! When you blend your eyeshadow with the same brush – it created the mud instead of beautiful gradience. So, my tips is – first apply your eyeshadow colour onto your eyelid and then, blend it with a clean blending brush (it doesn’t need to be a Mac blending brush or any other expensive one, it just should be a clean brush), this way you will achieve amazing and beautiful eyeshadow “smoke”.

6) Keep your eyeliner proportional to the shape and size of your eyes.
When applying an eyeliner you need to pay attention to the natural shape and size of your eyes. For example, too thick an eyeliner can make your eyes look smaller. If you have small eyes i would recommend to draw a thin eyeliner line.

7) Applying Makeup To Dry Skin
This is a huge no-no, says Barbara Guillaume, a makeup artist who has worked on celebs like Colin Farrell and Kellan Lutz. “You should be exfoliating once a week because applying foundation onto dry skin will accentuate flakiness, and it will sit on the top of your face instead of blending in.” Heed her advice by exfoliating weekly, then applying a rich moisturizer after .

8) Wearing The Wrong Shade Of Blush
Blushes should complement your natural blush tone, says Osmosis Color Cosmetics makeup artist Alejandro Falcon. “If you are wearing a bolder lip, pair that with a subtler shade of blush.”

9) Applying Too Much Bronzer
Mari Shten , a makeup artist who has worked with Mariah Carey and Christy Turlington, nominates the over-liberal application of bronzer as one of the biggest makeup blunders. “Applying all over the face instead of just the forehead, temples and nose” is a big no-no, she says. She also warns us not forget to apply to the neck.

10) Not Cleaning Your Brushes
“My number one mishap I see: women applying makeup with dirty brushes or old, unwashed sponges and then wondering why their makeup doesn’t look fresh, or even breaking out,” says Rachel Wood, makeup artist to celebs Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Olivia Palermo, and Lily Cole. She says to wash your tools with a mild shampoo or instant brush cleaner and replace your sponges regularly.

11) Sleeping in your makeup
OK, so you had a night out and you’re way too tired to take your makeup off. I get it, we’ve all been there, but sleeping in your makeup is probably the worst thing you can do for your skin. As we sleep, our skin goes through a renewing process so that we can wake up to rejuvenated, glowing skin after a good nights sleep. Wearing makeup to bed not only clogs your pores and causes breakouts, it can also age skin by sucking all your skin’s moisture out which can cause wrinkles or dry patchy skin. Taking those few extra minutes to take your makeup off and applying a skincare regimen will save your skin from looking tired, sallow, and patchy.

Proper pregnancy nutrition is one of the best things you can do for yourself and your baby. The food you eat is the main source of nutrition for your baby.
On a daily basis, your pregnancy nutrition routine should include a variety of foods from the four main food groups.
• Fruits and vegetables. Aim for at least five portions each day.
• Starchy food. Try to choose wholegrain options of bread and pasta, brown rice, and potatoes.
• Foods rich in protein. These include lean meat, chicken, fish, eggs, beans, and lentils. Try to get at least two portions of fish (including oily fish) a week.
• Dairy foods. Opt for milk, yogurt, and cheese, which provide calcium.

Dairy products, along with sea fish and sea salt are all good sources of iodine. You need plenty of iodine for your pregnancy nutrition to help your baby’s development.
For the first six months of pregnancy you don’t actually need any extra calories. Then you only need about 200 extra calories per day for the last three months.

Your appetite is your best guide of how much food you need to eat. You may find fluctuations of your appetite throughout your pregnancy:
• In the first few weeks, especially if you have nausea, you may not feel like eating proper meals.
• Your appetite may not change or be vaguely increased in the middle part of your pregnancy.
• By the end of your pregnancy your appetite will probably increase.

The best rule to remember when speaking about pregnancy nutrition is to eat when you are hungry.
Some vitamin supplements may be good insurance to make sure you’re getting the right nutrients.

During your pregnancy it’s recommended that you take two important supplements:
• 400 mcg folic acid a day – for the first 12 weeks
• 10 mcg of vitamin D a day – during your entire pregnancy

A report by The Punch indicates that the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and other eminent groups have set a target for President Buhari on what should be his focus as he resumes today.

Besides the NLC, organisations and personalities who spoke included the Northern Elders’ Council, the pan-Yoruba socio-political group; Afenifere and Alhaji Balarabe Musa.
They advised the president to focus on the economy so that the plight of the masses, who could not travel abroad for medical treatment, would improve.

According to NAIJ.com, the demands of the groups and individuals are listed below:
1. The NLC called on Buhari to focus on the challenges facing the country, especially the economy. The general secretary of the NLC, Dr Peter Ozo-Eson, said the government should tackle the problem of the economy to get the country out of recession. He stated that it was important for the government to initiate policies that would reduce the suffering of Nigerians.
2. The executives, Anti-corruption Network, Mr Ebenezer Oyetakin, said the president should improve on the economy.
Oyetakin said: “Buhari should focus on getting the economy to work better in the interest of the common masses. He should increase the battle against corruption and make it more potent. He should work towards the re-denomination of the naira as a way to administratively deal with corruption in one swoop and to free the naira from both local and international currency war and manipulations.”
3. The national publicity secretary of Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin, said it was high time the country was restructured.
Odumakin said: “The country is drifting dangerously and the release of the timetable for the next elections by INEC will put the government under serious pressure as it signals the commencement of serious politicking.
“He therefore needs a dedicated team that can deliver on his core commitments to Nigeria in the few months left for governance under this dispensation.
“It would be nice if the President realises that holding elections under this structure without modifications may not augur well for the polity. A restructured polity therefore seems the low hanging fruit that can give him a lasting legacy.”
4. The spokesman for the Northern Elders Forum, Professor Ango Abdullahi, said it was left for the president and his close aides to decide his area of priorities. He believed Buhari must have used part of his medical leave to refresh his mind on areas he would like to face.
His words: “If he cannot do all, he would probably have to prioritise areas that will be of greater importance to the public. It is entirely up to him and those who are close to him, either as ministers or others, whatever their functions are in the system.”
5. A former governor of Kaduna state, Alhaji Balarabe Musa, said the president must carry out a thorough review of his economic policies.
Balarabe stated that the economy was “very sick” going by the daily hardship of Nigerians, and a good way to prove to the people that he was refreshed was for Buhari to come up with policy directions and plans to uplift the economy.
His words: “There is need for a fundamental change in the economy in particular. This is because the economy is the sum total of the welfare of the people. He must provide a healthy economy that will make Nigerians glad.
“He must face the stark realities that the economy and welfare of the people are in danger, simply because we have economic and political systems that put the interests of a few forward.”
6. The president, Nigerian Voters Assembly, Masud Erubami advised the president to come out with a new style of anti corruption crusade.
“The president should show in his speeches and body languages that he had healthily returned as the true Buhari that we knew by displaying his distaste for corruption and from the way it is being currently handled,” Erubami stated.
7. The president of the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights, Malachy Ugwummadu, said Buhari should deepen the consultation in the Niger Delta.

Meanwhile, an earlier report had indicated that President Buhari has no schedule on his itinerary as he resumes work on Monday, March 13.
According to the report, no assignment has been scheduled yet for Buhari as he formally resumes from his 51-day medical vacation.

1. Nuts
Nuts such as almonds, walnuts, and pecans are a great source of biotin, a vitamin known to help promote hair growth .
“Biotin or Vitamin B7 is a coenzyme that provides energy to the body,” says Certified Nutritional Consultant Lori Kenyon Farley in an email. “In particular, it helps create healthy hair cells, leading to thicker, healthier hair.”

2. Oysters
Though they may not be the first food on your list, oysters are a great source of nutrients, including zinc, that can help give you those luscious locks you want.
“Oysters contain protein, iron, omega fatty acids, calcium, zinc and vitamin C,” says Dr. Diaz. “All of these vitamins and minerals are essential for healthy beautiful skin and hair.”

3. Eggs
Not only are eggs a delicious way to start your day, but they contain the protein, zinc, and iron that your hair and body needs.
“Zinc benefits for hair includes promotion of cell reproduction, tissue growth and repair of broken tissues,” Carla Rivas , hairstylist and co-founder of hair growth vitamin Hair La Vie, tells Bustle in an email. “It also maintains the oil-secreting glands that are attached to your hair follicles, thus decreasing their chances of falling out.

4. Salmon
Omega-3 fatty acids are essential nutrients for healthy hair and skin, and since your body can’t produce them on its own, it’s important you get these fatty acids from your diet. Eating two servings of fatty fish like salmon or tuna per week can help keep your hair full and long.

5. Chia and Flax Seeds
Fish isn’t the only way to get in your dose of omega-3s. “If you are staying away from animal products, try adding flax seeds or chia seeds to your smoothie,” says Farley. “These little babies will keep your locks looking shiny and healthy.”

6. Sweet Potatoes
Say yes to those sweet potato fries.
“Sweet potatoes are another wonderful food for hair growth due to their high dosage of beta carotene, the precursor of Vitamin A, which helps to keep hair from becoming dry and brittle,” says beauty expert Julie Ricevuto in an email.

7. Avocado

According to a report by the Guardian, the progressive senator Elizabeth Warren accused Donald Trump of firing a prominent prosecutor to install “cronies”, warning on Sunday of “a massive fight” in the Senate over his picks for new US attorneys.

On Saturday, Trump fired Preet Bharara , the US attorney of the southern district of Manhattan, where the prosecutor had pursued corruption cases against members of both the Republican and Democratic parties. In November, Bharara met with Trump and his nominee for attorney general, Jeff Sessions, and said he had “agreed to stay on” after conversations with both.
But on Friday afternoon, Sessions abruptly ordered 46 prosecutors, nearly all appointees of Barack Obama, to resign “effective immediately”. Bharara refused to resign and was fired, saying in a brief public statement: “One hallmark of justice is absolute independence, and that was my touchstone every day that I served.”
New presidents typically replace the appointees named by their predecessors, but not since 1993 has a new administration done so in such a rapid, sweeping fashion. And late Saturday, an official speaking on condition of anonymity told the Associated Press that the sudden dismissal of Bharara was preceded by an unusual phone call from the White House to the prosecutor’s office.
On Thursday, the president’s secretary called Bharara, who declined to take the call because the justice department has strict rules about communications between Presidents and prosecutors. Bharara told Trump’s secretary he could not speak directly with the president.
The White House has declined to comment on why Trump fired Bharara after asking him to continue in his role. Warren seized on this ambiguity, tweeting on Sunday that Trump “talked a big game about getting corruption out of government. But he wants a bunch of tame prosecutors who won’t investigate him.”
“Preet Bharara had authority over Trump Tower,” she wrote, noting the US attorney’s jurisdiction over Manhattan, the Bronx and Westchester, New York. Trump “called him directly, breaching protocol”, Warren continued. “24 hours later he was asked to resign.”
“More GOP & Dems respect Preet Bharara as a fearless prosecutor who stands up to both parties & Wall Street. I guess that’s why Trump fired him,” she said, before drawing a comparison to Trump’s decision to fire Sally Yates. The president fired Yates , who was acting attorney general in the first weeks of his administration, after she refused to defend his executive order limiting travel, and after she warned Trump that his national security adviser had misled the White House about conversations with Russia’s ambassador.
Warren said the president “wants people like AG Sessions, a loyalist who lied to the Senate about meeting with the Russians”, alluding to Session’s failure, under oath , to disclose his own conversations with the ambassador.
“You can’t fire the rule of law,” Warren wrote. “You can’t shut down ongoing investigations by career prosecutors.”
“The Senate confirms US Attorneys. And you’re not replacing real prosecutors with cronies without a massive fight,” she added.
At the time of his dismissal, Bharara was overseeing separate investigations into the staffs of New York mayor Bill de Blasio and New York governor Andrew Cuomo, both leading critics of the Trump administration. His office had also opened an investigation into Fox News over a possible failure to inform shareholders of multimillion-dollar settlements with female employees who had accused Roger Ailes, the former CEO, of sexual harassment.
Over his seven years as US attorney for the southern district, Bharara prosecuted high-profile cases on financial hacking and insider trading and against JPMorgan Chase, Toyota and the billionaire investor Steven Cohen, earning the prosecutor the nickname “the sheriff of Wall Street”.
