A poll released on Sunday showed how few people support President Donald Trump’s decision to fire former FBI Director James Comey, while also acknowledging the extent to which many Americans have no opinion about the decision at all.
A new NBC/Wall Street Journal poll
found that just 29% of Americans approve of Trump’s decision to fire Comey, compared to 38% who disapprove. Thirty two percent of survey respondents said they had no opinion of Trump’s decision to fire America’s chief law enforcement officer.
Trump’s popularity didn’t seem to take a significant hit from the Comey investigation — it dropped one point from last month’s NBC/WSJ survey to 39% support. And while 61% of respondents said Trump’s decision did not change their opinion of the president, 30% of respondents said they had a less favorable impression of Trump now, versus just 6% who said they had a more favorable view.
Unsurprisingly, support and opposition to the decision has largely sdown partisan lines.
A Morning Consult/Politico poll conducted last week found that 62% of Republicans and just 16% of Democrats thought Trump was right to fire Comey, while 58% of Republicans and just 9% of Democrats told NBC they approved of Trump’s decision.
But in a poll conducted last month, Republicans were far more opposed to hypothetically removing Comey, while Democrats were slightly more open to the possibility. The April poll found that 31% of Republican voters supported Comey losing his job, compared to 22% of Democrats.
Still, the Politico poll found that respondents were more likely to say Trump’s decision was inappropriate after they were informed that the FBI is actively investigating Russia for interfering in the 2016 election, and whether the Trump campaign colluded with Kremlin officials.

It was gathered that on Saturday, Queen Ashley Foundation stumbled upon an elderly woman who was said to be abandoned at Maitama General hospital by her madam, after she developed excruciating pains on her legs from her home.

Two days ago she was helped to the hospital for treatment with her madam’s knowledge, as she could not walk alone.
After two days in the hospital, no assistant from anyone to pay hospital bills to commence treatment as she was not able to reach Mr Churchill, whom she had not seen since January she parked out with her Madam and the Son King Andrea to their new place of settlement.
Queen Ashley Foundation was on a tour to hospitals donating to patients in preparation for her Children’s Day Party where she is set to feed 1,000 Children, when she stumbled on the helpless Woman at the emergency ward.

According to a report by Post Nigeria, Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, has reportedly signed an agreement with Northern Nigerian Leaders, not to rule beyond 2019, peradventure President Muhamamdu Buhari dies.
A Northern Elder Statesmen and member of the House of Representatives during the Second Republi,c Junaid Mohammed, dropped this hint, on Saturday evening, when he met with Reporters.
This came against the backdrop of the continual illness of Buhari, who was last week flown to London behind cameras, according to what the Presidency described as “a follow up medical consultation in the United Kingdom.”
While making the disclosure, he said: “One thing I know is that, if Vice President (Yemi) Osinbajo becomes the President from whatever date to 2019, he cannot contest that position again. This was the understanding that was reached with Goodluck Jonathan (with the PDP), and he reneged on it, and nearly threw the country into a civil war.
“This time around, those whether from the North, South-South, South-West, or South-East, who sign agreements with whomever, must make such public. They should also state the time when this agreement will come into force.
“We cannot now avoid the Constitution. If there is the need to follow the Constitution, we must follow the letter and spirit of the Constitution – that is up till 2019. Beyond that, power should come back to where Buhari comes from, and remain there for a solid eight to 10 years – unless in running for a second term, the person loses re-election. There is nothing one can do about that.”

Nobody can force Muhammadu Buhari to disclose the nature of his ailment or health status, the special adviser to the president on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, has said.
The Nigerian Tribune reports that Adesina said this while answering a question on the possibility of Nigerians getting to know about the president’s ailment.
“It is only the president himself that can declare that. And when he came back from London on March 10, he said it that he had never been that sick in his life.
“That is a declaration of his health status.
“It is within his prerogative to do that. Nobody can do it for him.
“Not even the doctors treating him can do it for him. Under the Hippocratic Oath, nobody can do it except the patient.
“Nobody; under the Hippocratic Oath, it says that even the doctor has no right to reveal the health status of his patient to anybody.
“So, it’s only Mr President that can say what exactly is wrong with him.
“Don’t forget that in June last year, he went abroad to treat an ear problem.
“That ear problem had first been treated here in Nigeria and then, when he was going on vacation, he used that opportunity to also consult specialists in London.
“When he came back, he told the country that this was what was wrong with him.
“So, the prerogative is his own to disclose and if he wants to disclose, he will. But nobody should be asking him to do it. That would be an infringement on his right,” Adesina said.
Adesina noted that the constitution does not say the president must disclose his ailment or health status.
“Nobody should be in suspense in the real sense of the word. It’s like they say, you don’t have to use Panadol for another person’s headache.
“If anybody has put himself in suspense, he’s just doing it for himself because it’s not necessary. The law does not compel a president to reveal what is wrong with him. It does not,” he said.

The young lady had accused the singer of impregnating her about 3 years ago and abandoning his responsibility as a father. Even though Davido publicly denied the child, Labinjo had since dared him to come out for another DNA test but the singer has refused.
In a new chat with Saturday Beats, Ayomide said that she is not happy for the singer even though it seems the world is happy for him for welcoming another child with a US-based woman, Amanda.
She queried why he would take care of his other two children and be a doting father to them but refused to do the same to their alleged child, Mitchell, whom she claims to be his first child.
“Our lawyer has sent a letter to Davido’s father since April 20, 2017, we have not got any response till now. I am not happy about this whole situation. Why would I be happy for Davido?
He should be taking care of Mitchell the same way he is taking care of Imade and I know how he is going to take good care of this one. What is my own offence?” she queried.
When asked if she does not feel that the way he treats them could be a possible sign that the kid probably does not belong to the singer, she challenged him to have another DNA test.
“What do you mean please? Then why isn’t he coming out for the DNA since he is denying the little girl? Why has his father refused to get back to the lawyer? David is the father of my daughter, at least I was not raped. I know who impregnated me!
Besides, if he doesn’t want to go for the DNA, he has siblings. Let them come out or probably go the traditional way to know if she is their daughter or not. I don’t know and I don’t care about any ‘Americana;’ all I want is for him to take care of Mitchell. She’s also his daughter and first child for that matter,” she said.

Former Minister of Aviation and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Femi-Fani Kayode has taken a swipe at Acting President, Yemi Osibanjo for saying Buhari treats him like his son, Daily Post reports.
Fani-kayode said it was disappointing for a 60-year-old to publicly make such statement.
The former minister was reacting to a statement credited to Osinbajo during his visit to the palace of the Emir of Katsina, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Abdulmumin Usman, on Thursday.
Osinbajo during the visit to the monarch said he sees Kastina as his second home because of the way Buhari treats him.
“I feel very much at home in Katsina. Moreso, because this is the State of the President who has taken me as a brother; in fact the President has taken me as a son in the way he treats me.
“I pray the Lord will preserve our President to continue to lead, as the nation has voted him to do. He seriously believes in Nigeria unity”.
Reacting via a tweet Thursday night, Fani-Kayode said Nigeria was in serious trouble.
“The President treats me like his son and his brother”- VP. A 60 year old man can say this? We are in trouble,” he tweeted.
Meanwhile, Yoruba youths, under the umbrella of Concerned O’oduwa Progressive Youth Assembly, COPYA, has waned Fani-Kayode over his constant attacks on President Buhari and his vice, Osinbajo.

President Donald Trump railed against the “fake media” in a series of Twitter postings early on Friday, going as far as threatening to cancel daily news briefings at the White House, Punch reports.
A political firestorm has engulfed Washington since Trump’s sacking of FBI director James Comey, who was leading the investigation into possible collusion between the Trump election campaign and Russia.
Trump once again went after Comey, whom he had called a “showboat” and “grandstander” in an interview on Thursday.
“James Comey better hope that there are no “tapes” of our conversations before he starts leaking to the press” Trump threatened on Twitter.
The White House has offered contradicting explanations for Trump’s surprise firing of Comey on Tuesday, fueling accusations he was attempting to shut down the FBI probe.
In addition to blasting Comey, the president also took the opportunity to lash out at the press: “The fake media is working overtime today.
“As a very active president with lots of things happening, it is not possible for my surrogates to stand at podium with perfect accuracy,” Trump said.
He wrote that “all future” White House briefings with reporters could be scrapped and replaced with written responses to questions.

Hijab even without being told is symbolical to women of the Islamic faith. It’s an “accessory” I should say that is wrapped from the head to the neck region of the body. The hijab can be in form of turbans too and is quite becoming a piece that non-Islamic women are appreciating.
Without much ado about hijabs, I particularly love what hijab fashion bloggers are doing with this trend. Here are few tips & tricks to looking good in a stylish hijab.
- There are factors that determine the type of fabric you should use on your head. Factors like weather, type of hair etc. For a sunny weather, it’s best to use silk or a light weight fabric.
- Hijabs should complement your outfits. Don’t just pick an hijab for the sake of picking. Let it blend with your outfit as well. Make it stylish and beautifully wrapped on your head.
- Try different fabrics from silk to prints, cotton to velvet etc. Go for loud colours when necessary but make sure it’s done modestly.
- If you have noticed, the longer the hijab, the better it’s well wrapped on the head and also long hijabs help in making different styles.
