A Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, and Publisher of Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu, has declared that it is that only spiritual powers that can force President Muhammadu Buhari out of the office, and to tender his resignation, Post-Nigeria reports.
In a recent article titled: “Now that the Governors are back”, Momodu advised people clamouring for the President’s resignation, to stop wasting their time.
He wrote: “No one can say what he would do with a degree of assertion, until he’s been tried and tempted. That is a fact. So let’s accept for now that our President has no intention of abdicating anytime soon. Indeed, it would be premature to ask him to do so in any event. It is clear that he is showing quite remarkable improvement, and almost magical recuperative powers of recovery.
”This means that one cannot say he should quit the stage, when he clearly can continue to act once he has become fully rejuvenated after a long stint of rest and relaxation.
”We must appreciate the fact that there have been several world leaders, who have not been that strong, that have governed their countries from their sick bed.
”President Buhari has demonstrated his ability to do so, because of the able and competent Vice President that he has in Professor Yemi Osinbajo.”

Excess body fat especially around the tummy can seriously harm our health. This also could be the case for normal-weight people who aren’t technically fat but considered obese.
The fat stored in your midsection (your belly), according to experts is more like an extra organ or gland which produces hormones that can affect the well-being of the body.
It’s important to get rid of this belly fat as it is a predictor of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, insulin resistance, causes some cancers and high blood pressure.
In women, this visceral fat leads to Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) which causes problems with your periods and make it difficult to get pregnant and most times result to infertility.
Here’s what contributes largely to belly fat:
Gluttony
Your weight is largely determined by how you balance the calories you eat with the energy you burn. If you eat too much and exercise too little, you’re likely to pack on excess pounds including belly fat.
Age
Aging does play a role too. As you age, you lose muscle especially if you’re not physically active. Loss of muscle mass decreases the rate at which your body uses calories, which can make it more challenging to maintain a healthy weight.
Alcohol
Drinking excess alcohol can cause you to gain belly fat. It can increase belly fat because alcohol contains calories. Although some research suggests wine might be an exception, if you drink alcohol, do so only in moderation.
Processed Foods
Refined foods like white bread, chips and pastries as well as refined sugars in drinks increase inflammation in our bodies, so eating too many processed foods will hinder your ability to lose belly fat.
Natural foods like fruits, vegetables are full of antioxidants, which have anti-inflammatory properties and may therefore actually prevent belly fat.
Inadequate Sleep
Study have it that people who sleep less than six hours a night are more likely to gain 30 or more pounds than those who slept 7 hours. The National Institutes of Health suggest adults sleep seven to eight hours a night. ( Source: The Whistler)

President Donald Trump said Friday that he had replaced his chief of staff Reince Priebus with Secretary of Homeland Security John Kelly.
Trump, who announced the move on Twitter, did not say whether he had fired Priebus or whether Priebus had resigned, but the former Republican National Committee chairman said he tendered his resignation to the president on Thursday.
The move came a day after his new communications director, Anthony Scaramucci, accused Priebus of leaking information to reporters in a profanity-laced tirade.
“I am pleased to inform you that I have just named General/Secretary John F Kelly as White House Chief of Staff. He is a Great American…” the president wrote, continuing in a second tweet with “…and a Great Leader. John has also done a spectacular job at Homeland Security. He has been a true star of my Administration.”
Priebus said he was aware of Kelly’s appointment. “Yeah, we talked. I resigned privately yesterday.”
Kelly, 67, a retired four-star Marine Corps general, will assume the chief of staff post on Monday. He was hired with the goal of bringing more discipline to the White House, a senior White House official said.
Incoming White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Trump and Priebus had begun discussing the exit “about two weeks ago.” She did not directly answer whether it was a firing or a resignation. “We all serve at the pleasure of the president,” Sanders told reporters.
In just over six months in office, Trump has shed his first national security adviser (Michael Flynn), communications director (Mike Dubke), press secretary (Sean Spicer), deputy chief of staff (Katie Walsh), deputy national security adviser (K.T. McFarland) and now his chief of staff. His attorney general, Republican former senator Jeff Sessions, has been in an increasingly tenuous position, with the president openly criticising him, but stopping short of firing him or asking him to resign.
Priebus never managed to assert himself as a traditional a chief of staff in Trump’s profoundly unorthodox White House. He never controlled access to the president, did not manage the mercurial commander in chief’s time, and his power to hire and fire was perpetually questioned by rivals for West Wing power.
Aides also said Trump had never completely forgiven Priebus for suggesting he quit the 2016 presidential race after the release of an audio recording in which Trump seemed to brag about getting away with sexual assault.
Speaking to reporters as he arrived back in Washington from Long Island, N.Y. — where earlier Friday he delivered a speech on gang violence — Trump praised Kelly calling him “a great great American” and added that Priebus is “a good man.”

Pominent South African TV presenter and On Air Personality, Bonang Matheba, has insisted that the music industry of her country celebrates female entertainers more than Nigeria’s, which to her mind, has bigger clout and should therefore set good examples.
In a recent interview with Saturday Tribune Bonang called on the Nigerian entertainment industry to quickly tie the loose ends on their regard for female creatives.
“For instance, Tiwa Savage is the only popular female voice in Nigeria that is greatly celebrated, while the rest of the country honours and recognises men more. This is an area of observation that can be more elevated.
Our South Africa’s industry is far much kinder to our female counterparts and genuinely celebrates them and allows them to shine,” she said.

US Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Thursday called a barrage of criticism from President Donald Trump “hurtful” — but vowed to remain in his post, Guardian reports.
The president has launched a series of attacks against his top law enforcement official in recent days, furious at Sessions for recusing himself from a probe into alleged Russian ties to Trump’s election campaign.
Sessions has remained largely silent in response but, in an interview with Fox News during a visit to El Salvador, he admitted to being stung by the president’s comments.
“It is kind of hurtful, but the president of the United States is a strong leader,” said Sessions, a former senator from Alabama who was one of the first senior politicians to endorse Trump.
Sessions said that Trump’s overwhelming desire was for “all of us to do our jobs. That’s what I intend to do.”
The attorney general stepped away in March from overseeing the FBI-led Russia probe after it emerged he had not disclosed during his Senate confirmation hearing that he met twice with the Russian ambassador to Washington.
In an interview with The New York Times last week, Trump said he would never have appointed Sessions had he known he would recuse himself from the Russia probe.
He later called him out on Twitter, saying he had been “VERY weak” for failing to open a criminal investigation into his defeated election rival Hillary Clinton.
The attacks, widely seen as designed to force Sessions into resigning, have upset leading figures in Trump’s Republican Party, who have sprung to the attorney general’s defense.
“If Jeff Sessions is fired, there will be holy hell to pay,” Republican Senator Lindsey Graham warned Thursday.
