US President Donald Trump would “certainly be open” to meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un, he said in an interview broadcast Sunday as he began an extended Asian tour.
Asked by journalist Sharyl Attkisson, host of the “Full Measure” TV show, whether he would “ever consider sitting down with the dictator,” Trump said he was holding meetings with numerous Asian leaders.
“I would sit down with anybody,” he said. “I don’t think it’s strength or weakness, I think sitting down with people is not a bad thing.
“So I would certainly be open to doing that but we’ll see where it goes, I think we’re far too early.”
Trump’s conciliatory-sounding comment came after months of fiery rhetorical exchanges between the two leaders, prompted by a series of internationally condemned nuclear and missile tests by the North.
The North has denounced Trump as a “mentally deranged US dotard,” or senile old man and the country’s ruling party newspaper Rodong Sinmun referred to him Sunday as “unstable.”
Trump, for his part, has mocked Kim as “Little Rocket Man” and has vowed to rain “fire and fury” down on the North if it threatens the US or its allies.
Trump’s latest comment appeared to be something of a reversal from a Twitter message he sent just over a month ago, in which he said that US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson was “wasting his time” trying to negotiate with the North Korean leader.
The war of words has been deeply unsettling for US allies in the region, which include Japan, where Trump met Sunday with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, and South Korea, where he is to meet Tuesday with President Moon Jae-In.
Trump then travels to China on Wednesday, Vietnam on Friday and the Philippines on Sunday.
The interview was broadcast as a letter by the US Defense Department emerged that said the only way to locate and secure all North Korea’s nuclear weapons sites would be via a US ground invasion.
The two-page document was addressed to Ted W. Lieu, a Democratic member of Congress in response to a request regarding “expected casualty assessments in a conflict with North Korea.”
“The only way to ‘locate and destroy — with complete certainty — all components of North Korea’s nuclear weapons programs’ is through a ground invasion,” it said.
It added “a classified briefing is the best venue for a detailed discussion” of such a plan.

Nollywood cctress Ebube Nwagbo seems to be enjoying being single. The beautiful actress was allegedly dating singer Kcee.
She opened up to Sunday Scoop, on why she is yet to be married.
“I believe that everything happens at the right time, which is the time that God ordains. I don’t like abandoning things halfway; I prefer to stick with it till the end. That’s why I have to be very careful about marriage. I don’t think divorced couples go into their marriages with the intention to split. It is because issues came up that they couldn’t handle or that they did not know one another well enough before getting married. Anyway, I have learnt from the mistakes of other people and whenever I make my decision, it just has to be the right way.”
On how she manages male fans;
“Some of them can be quite extreme and I always put such people in their place. I try to relate with people equally, irrespective of class or status. However, most of my fans are pleasant and I love them all very much. I appreciate all the females too. But I also want fans of celebrities to know that as humans, their favourite actor or artiste wouldn’t always be in the best of moods. They should try to be a bit more understanding.”

Rapper, Sodiq Abubakar Yusuf, better known as CDQ in the entertainment industry, insists that he never abandoned Tiwa Savage’s husband, Teebillz, when the latter had marital issues.
Recall that in 2016, Teebillz’s marriage to Tiwa was on the verge of collapse following his outburst on social media. In response, Tiwa, granted an interview where she revealed all that went wrong in their marriage. Things seem to be resolved now, however.
But according to CDQ, while speaking with Sunday Scoop, he did all he could to reach Teebillz when he was struggling with his marriage, saying all his efforts proved abortive.
“I tried my best to reach him at that period, but he was not reachable. Then, I was working with a record company, General Records, and they needed returns on their investment. So, I could not stop the flow of things. It wasn’t the company’s business whether anyone was going through hard times or not. That was why I needed to move on. We are still friends. He is a big brother to me and he advises me a lot,” he added.
CDQ, who now owns a record company, No Struggle No Success, admitted that it had not been a jolly ride since he left Masterkraft’s General Records.
He stated, “Being a solo artiste has been good, but I will not say it has been rosy all through. But when I make N100, I know all the money is for me alone and I can decide what to do with it. When I was with a record company, it was a different ball game. Once I made N100, they would keep N70 to themselves.
“I was so close to MasterKraft before I got signed on to General Records. There is General Records on one side and Mastercraft on the other side. The two are different entities.
“For people who believe I left General Records so soon, they may need to check what I have been able to achieve as a solo artiste and what I did while I was with the label. They don’t really know what is happening but at the end of the day, I am still part of my former label. We are a small family and I didn’t just leave abruply; we had an understanding before I left.”
On why he turned down Davido at a time, CDQ said he was already signed on to another company.
“If I had taken up Davido’s offer, I think I would have done better for myself, but you have to think of other things too. It may have affected my music career as well because he is an artiste like me and he has a career to keep. Davido is a great person. Despite his success, whenever we are together, he is still humble,” he said.

According to Today, an adviser to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign has admitted meeting with Russian government officials in 2016, according to a report in the New York Times which cited his testimony before a congressional committee.
Carter Page, a former Navy officer and investment banker who advised Trump on foreign policy, had previously denied or side-stepped the question of whether he had met with Russian officials in previous interviews with the Times, it said.
The development comes days after Trump’s former campaign chairman Paul Manafort and an associate were placed under house arrest on money-laundering charges linked to an investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller into allegations that the campaign colluded with Russia.
The US Congress is also conducting three separate investigations into the allegations, which have dogged Trump since his election and which he has strongly denied.
Shortly after a July 2016 trip, Page “sent an email to at least one Trump campaign aide describing insights he had after conversations with government officials, legislators and business executives during his time in Moscow,” the Times reported, quoting a person familiar with the matter.
Page later confirmed the meetings to the Times, and told CNN that Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich was among those he met.
But he downplayed the significance of the meetings, telling the Times he had “a very brief hello to a couple of people.”
It is the latest example to emerge of a Trump aide meeting with Russian officials during the 2016 election after initially denying that such contacts occurred. Other officials include Trump’s former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, his son-in-law Jared Kushner, and Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
Following the arrest of Manafort and his protege Rick Gates, Trump said in a tweet that there was “no collusion” between his campaign and Russia, and noted that the allegations of criminal activity by Manafort came “years ago,” before he joined the campaign.
Manafort and Gates have pleaded not guilty to charges that they allegedly hid millions of dollars gleaned from work with Ukrainian politician Viktor Yanukovych and his pro-Moscow political party.

Quite a number of us can relate to getting sick and tired of keeping our hair short and would instead crave for a desired celebrity look. It can be pretty difficult to think that a desired look is hard to reach but of you’re willing to put in some time, energy and faith, you can surely get the look you desire.
And lucky for you, we have your back and we have put together a number of essential tips that can make your hair look like that of Diddy, Jamie Foxx, Kit Harrington or which ever celebrity hair you’ve got your mind on.
Get A Strategy
The worst thing you can do to yourself and your hair is to start the journey without a plan as to where you want to end up. As such, flip through loads of celebrity pictures and decide which of the looks you fancy.
More so, you need to assess whether long hair is ideal for you, as really thick, coarse ones turns into a giant boofy mushroom, while a receding hairline would not make a good canvas for longer locks. Wavy hair on the other hand is flattered by extra length. Patience is however important as hair usually grows at about one centimetre per month so be prepared for the long haul.
Don’t Ditch Your Barber
If you choose to grow long locks, that doesn’t mean you should let go of your barber except you want your locks to end up an untidy, unkempt and un-styled mess. The transition to long hair requires plenty of maintenance as it grows out along the way to your ideal length.
You can choose to get an undercut as it is the ideal style. It is longer on top and still tidy around the back and sides. It helps you avoid an unintentional mullet, and follicles on top grow slower than on the side.
Find The Best Styles For You
With your hair growing at barely a centimetre a month, a lot of waiting is required. As such experiment with some distinct styles along the way. If you go with an undercut, the extra volume on top is perfect.
If your hair parts in the middle, the relaxed and trendy bro-flow is an option, or stick to the failsafe slicked-back look. Whatever the case maybe, your stylist should be your best ally during the unavoidable awkward stages of growth you’re bound to experience.
Take Care Of It
While getting long locks may seem like a great idea at first, it may not seem like something you’d love later on. If you choose to have long hair, you can’t just jump out of the shower and dry with a towel. You have to get used of squeezing out moisture in sections.
Blow-drying might not be the way to go as it weakens the hair. You won’t be able to brush it until it’s totally dry because of the risk of breakage. Don’t also over-shampoo it as it removes nourishing natural oils.
Learn How To Style
Longer hair will make you change your styling products. Heavy products like waxes and pomades should be left out and lighter products like leave-in conditioners, grooming creams, and sea-salt sprays should be brought in. This will give you a more relaxed look.(360Nobs)

The best way to stay regular is to exercise, eat a healthy, fiber-rich diet, and drink plenty of water. But if you have trouble going, certain foods can help. It’s not the only factor, but fiber —which adds to the size and water content of your stool – is key. Women should shoot for 21 to 25 grams a
day, and men, 30 to 38.
Pears
This sweet fruit is packed with vitamins and antioxidants, and it has a lot of fiber and water, which can help with constipation. One pear has only about 60 calories.
Popcorn
It’s not just the perfect movie food – it can be a healthy snack any time, as long as you don’t bury it in salt and butter. But you may not know it’s loaded with fiber.
Watermelon
It does not have a lot of fiber, but it is 92% water, and that can encourage a bowel movement. It’s also chock full of nutrients, with antioxidants that help protect your cells, as well as vitamins A, B, and C, and lycopene, which helps shield you from UV rays.
Oatmeal
Have this for breakfast and you’ll be less hungry and less likely to snack during the day. It is a good source of fiber, and the oats absorb lots of water, too, which helps with digestion. Bonus: It also may help lower LDL, or “bad cholesterol,” and gives you complex carbohydrates, protein, calcium, and iron.
Almonds
You can put them on salads and desserts, eat them with yogurt and cheese, or grind them to make a tasty pie filling or pastry dough.
Potato Salad
Cooled potatoes have fiber and a lot of something called “resistant starch.” This “resists” digestion, and some of it ends up in your large intestine, where it helps good bacteria grow.
Farro
An ancient strain of wheat that’s a staple in Italy, it has a hearty, chewy texture and a delicious nutty flavour. Try it instead of rice or potatoes for a fiber-rich starch with protein and calcium.
Prunes
Try not to think of Grandpa’s morning BM ritual – but he was on to something. Prunes can be good with yogurt or cheese or cooked with poultry and desserts. And they can really help get you going again, even better than some over-the-counter laxatives. It is not clear why they work so well, but they have sorbitol, which helps your bowels take in more water as well as fiber.
Lentils
These can make for a great a side dish (try them with sausage), and they’re good in salads, too. They can even be hearty enough to have as a main course, thanks to a healthy amount of protein. And, oh yeah, they help you poop.
