British/Nigerian actor John Boyega has revealed that Wizkid‘s hit song Daddy Yo will be used as the soundtrack for his forthcoming movie, Pacific Rim Uprising.
The Star Wars actor shared this information on his Twitter page posting a video of himself dancing to the song.

According to news reports, the US President, Donald Trump has denied news making the rounds that he advocated for giving teachers guns.
He said it was taken entirely out of context and he actually meant giving concealed weapons to teachers with “military or special training experience“.
Speaking via his official Twitter account, Trump advised that “highly trained teachers would serve as a deterrent” to bad people.

Nigerian popstar ‘Davido’ Adeleke‘s 2017 hit songs ‘If’ and ‘Fall’ have gone diamond and platinum respectively.
According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), this means ‘If’ has been sold or streamed one million times and ‘Fall’ has reached ten million record sales.
Davido shared a photo of himself with his awards and plagues on Tuesday through his Instagram page @davidooficial, writing:
“‘IF’ is officially Diamond and ‘FALL’ is officially Platinum in sales!!! My trophies finally came in as well! GOD IS REAL! Thank you Guys for making this happen!! Just getting started!!! Bless to my team @efe_one@asaasika@missamadi@sirbanko.”
The singer signed a record distribution deal with Sony RCA in the United States in 2016, a move that has led to his huge record sales.
The Plaques were presented at the Columbia Records UK office and Efe Ogbeni who executed the record deal for Davido with Sony was present.

Davido’s win came in shortly after he sold out his Brixton ‘O2’ Live show in London, on Sunday.

Former Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has said that the national team was weak until he introduced some young players into the squad after his appointment as coach in 2015, DailyPost reports.
Alex Iwobi, Moses Simon, Wilfred Ndidi, William Troost-Ekong, Abdullahi Shehu, and Kelechi Iheanacho made their international debut under Oliseh.
”One of the first things I did when I got the job was to bring a lot of young blood in because the team itself was already on the wane,” Oliseh said to ESPN.
”Players like [Alex] Iwobi, I brought into the team, I gave him his first call-up, and some others who had been sidetracked like Moses Simon.
“I brought them in and pushed them up.”
Oliseh stepped down as coach of the Super Eagles in February 2016, citing breach of contract by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
