Omg naija had a close door interview with UK based actress Vera B Pride and she had allot to say about herself and how the Nigerian movie industry is making waves in the international community … she had this to say ..

“Bih pride Awa, Born in Cameroon. Like most kids i dreamt of being a superstar, but dreaming is actually a good thing as it can be delayed sometimes but never denied. I am naturally a very creative person and the passion for acting has always been there. I started acting since Primary school. I have appeared the movies such as” I Spy” (Eddie Murphy playing lead) in 2002 in Budapest. 2013 I also appeared in the first Nollywood movie in the UK “Purity of heart”. “WHY MARRY?” by the visionary producer / author Briget Benjamin sort to bring big Cameroon artist here in the UK with other artist from Nigeria and Ghana. It was amazing working with Patience Ozokwo, Van Vicker and Nonso Ozokwo. The movie was directed by award winning international Nollywood Director / Cinematographer Nelson Spyk.

It was a wonderful experience, and I must say it is a fantastic film. I will be going into production with advice from great producers as the aforementioned names. The aim for my production will be to encourage our youth both home and abroad to be able to pursue their passion in the arts. “Why Marry?” premiere’s Fri Oct 7 at Odeon Imax Greenwich London.”
