The first of the twins is Taiyewo – the first to taste the world. Kehinde is the name of the last born twin. Kehinde is also called Kehindegbegbon- the child that came last gets the rights of the eldest.

In Yoruba culture twins are magical. And they are protected by Shango, god of thunder and lightning.
